Catching Up :)

So lets put our two holidays together!! We celebrated Joe's birthday this Sunday, he is 4 years old!! He picked out a chocolate cake (that's Daddy's boy!) and got his first real set of Legos! In fact, he had two bites of cake and went back to the Legos. Legos over cake, I love it! He is wearing cat ears because those who know him, know that he pretends to be a cat at least once a day. This has been going on.....almost a year and a half now. The cat ears are from Grandma, and he used them for his Halloween costume....a Halloween cat! Stephen was a vampire, because Grandma sent him a cape. Hooray for cheap costumes!! Happy Halloween! (I apologize for the lameness of posts...not much to say, just want to show pictures!!)

Pumpkin Carving!

Yes, I know I am late. I am catching up on a few posts today! First up, carving the family pumpkin! The boys designed it, Daddy carved. Stephen was completely grossed out by the insides, so he only managed one handful of the gooey stuff, but Joe totally reveled. It was adorable. Bracken kept trying to eat the pumpkin, so we told her "no" enough that she stopped....but continued to guard it. Oh, and did I mention we were listening to Christmas music while I made pho? Yes, quite the odd combo. But fun. :)
