Where's the snow?!

Okay, I live in Utah, right? And Utah is supposed to have the best snow in the world, right? Well, this winter, Utah has decided it just doesn't feel like snowing. We've had 2 pretty good snows, but they were gone in a day! No more than 4-5 inches! I happen to be one of those weirdos who actually LIKES snow. If there's no snow, whats the point of being COLD?? To be fair, it actually hasn't been that cold either. But we needed a snow fix, so we headed up to the cabin with our friends Austin and Camilla and their puppy Juneau. She and Bracken are good buds. We also celebrated Stephen Jr's 6th birthday!! He wanted coffee cake for his birthday. I'm so proud. The one thing he has wanted for about 6 months was a jack in the box. He asked Santa for one, but Santa was being a little cheap this year, so he got one for his birthday instead. We had a wonderful weekend, snowmobiling and sledding and sitting around doing nothing. Juneau and Bracken were inseperable! Constantly rough-housing. We would send them outside to cool off. Literally! Juneau got cold and left Bracken to romp around. At one point Bracken got Juneau pinned on the couch, it was hilarious. Joe loved having the dogs around, he really bonds with them. He's got the classic "boy and his dog" syndrome. His favorite thing to do is let them lick his feet! Feet taste interesting, so they are happy to comply. :) It was pretty idyllic. We're so grateful to have the LERFA lodge to go to!
