Ladies and Gentlemen, My husband, the scientist.
This deserved it's own post. So we are driving down a twisty road over a gorgeous pass in the Uintah mountains. Stephen can barely keep his eyes on the road, he's too busy pointing out "outcrops" and informing me of their age when suddenly he gets all excited and starts spewing gibberish. "GOSH! Those are pre-cambrian rocks and you can still see the trough cross-stratification!!" And I burst out laughing. Not because he is excited about rocks, just because I have NO EARTHLY IDEA what he just said!! Oh yeah, and try saying "trough cross-stratification" five times fast. I dare ya!
